Its all about LIFE!
|
|
LIFE small groups are all about LIFE transformation! L is for love. To love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength is the greatest commandment. The Second is like it, to love our neighbor as our self. I is for inspiration. Worship is our highest aim. Worship is letting God speak to us and then sharing our hearts back with Him. In small groups we spend time worshipping God through music, Bible study, and through being involved in life together. To live a life that honors God is true worship. F is for fellowship. Fellowship is caring for one another, praying for one another, encouraging one another and just having fun together. E is for evangelism. Evangelism is all about sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We do this through community action and by always being ready to share our spiritual story of what Jesus Christ is doing in our LIFE!

How do I Join?
|
You will want to join a LIFE group here at CHBC as soon as you can! You don’t have to be a church member. But this is how you really become a part of the family here. Church wide sign ups happen regularly so keep watching The Heights News (church bulletin). Feel free to browse the Small Group Application. You’ll need to log in (top right corner). You can check out all our small groups here to get an idea of the groups that are meeting, and even join a group! You can also email our small group pastor, Phil Meadows, at prmeadows@bellsouth.net.

Get a Taste of LIFE Groups
|
Sunday is a great time to get a Taste of LIFE groups. At 11 AM we have groups that meet for about 90 minutes and then schedule fellowship on another night. You can come to the 9:30 AM worship service and then stick around for a LIFE group. Don’t forget to come by The Taste of Life coffee shop of a free cup of coffee and a snack. There is childcare available in the CABANA and the Nursery. Follow the signs for directions, or see a Greeter for help. Join us for LIFE!

Small Group Manager

We have a Small Group Management application that we hope you will find useful in assisting you with your small group needs. If you are not in a small group, please feel free to browse the SGM app so that you can possibly find a group that will enable you to mature spiritually. If you are in a group, you can look for various resources that may help with your group's spiritual health.

How to become a small group leader
|
We are always looking for new small group leaders and HOSTS. We will provide you the training you need to get you going. To be a HOST all you need is a Heart for people, Open your home for a small group, Serve a light refreshment, and Turn on the DVD player to present a ready-made bible study. We’ll give you the support and guidance you need along the way. We have small group coaches who will encourage you on your journey to becoming a small group leader. Print out the Host Information sheet, fill it out and drop it by the church office.
